Lean
Rabbit meat is a lean protein, and grass-fed rabbit can be a very healthy addition to your diet. My family prefers their rabbit pulled and barbecued, but rabbit stew is an old standby for many others.
Flexible
Rabbit meat can be substituted into most any recipe involving chicken. I’d read this, and not really believed it, but have been pretty pleased with the results in those recipes I’ve adapted. Here’s a neat article and recipe: https://www.tastecooking.com/why-eat-rabbit/
Sustainable
Rabbits live and thrive on renewable plant products. They can mow (and fertilize) paths and spent garden areas while recycling scraps into meat. Our rabbits utilize the hay wasted by our goats, and what the rabbits don’t eat becomes part of the bedding for the chickens and mulch for the garden-yard.
